Join us as we will create our very own video games! Similar to Scratch®, we will be building video games based in MakeCode Arcade. Students will learn block coding or Javascript coding to create retro-style video games that can be played on small handheld devices and on the arcade machine currently hosted by Kickback Cafe! We will work through inspiration, design, planning, and overall code structure that lays a foundation for future software development. Laptops will be provided. This class will be held in Netherwood Knoll Elementary School. Taught by Chris Weed. Ages 11-15. Fee: $43.
