Join us as we learn about animal training through various different training philosophies, methods, and equipment! Modern animal training is based upon learning theory, and is largely rooted in the application of both operant and classical conditioning when an emotional factor is present. Training is an unregulated industry, so it is important for consumers of pet services to be informed as we make the best welfare decisions for our pets! This class will use a PowerPoint presentation with plenty of time for Q & A's. This class will be held in the District Office Conference Room, located at 123 E. Grove St. in Oregon, WI. Taught by Daniel Antolec of Happy Buddha Training. Ages 14 and up. Fee: $12.
NOTE: Please do not bring any animals to this class.
